We've owned this Fan / Program for the Lido des Champs Elysees Cabaret for probably 40 years. We have always had the Fam encased in a two sided glass frame to protect it. We also have an original menu from the cabaret of the same vintage purchased together with this Fan/Program. The Menu was probably saved as a souvenir along with the Fan / Program by the same original owner.
The fan is extremely fragile having been made out of very thin paper and applied onto a metal frame. On the backside there is a spot where apparently glue had been applied, probably to mount into a large scrapbook. The fan is 15" high and 6-1/2" wide.
I have only seen one other fan like this and that is in the online Paris Museum of Arts & Decorations website.
